Vietnam emerged as a major electronics manufacturing destination as companies diversified away from China. Samsung manufactures a significant share of its smartphones in Vietnam. Intel also operates assembly and test facilities there. The current effective rate is 10% (Section 122 only), down from the 46% IEEPA reciprocal tariff that was struck down in February 2026.
