Taiwan is the world's most critical semiconductor manufacturing hub, home to TSMC which produces over 90% of advanced chips below 7nm. Following the SCOTUS ruling voiding IEEPA tariffs in February 2026, Taiwan now faces only the Section 122 global surcharge of 10%, down from the 32% IEEPA reciprocal tariff.
